We are looking for a reliable EDDA/Dental Assistant to join our team full time. Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service with an excellent chairside manner
• Be conscious of the doctor's schedule and assist with efficient patient flow
• Assist office and doctor in maintaining patient records and informed consent documents
• Assist dentist in utilizing proper four-handed dentistry techniques, observing universal precautions
• Maintain patient comfort before, during, and after dental procedures
• Chart existing dentistry and current conditions in a computerized dental chart
• Capture diagnostic digital radiographs as ordered by the dentist
• Take impressions and assist with lab tasks as needed
• Maintain dental operatories organized and clean, assuring appropriate instruments and supplies were available.
• Sterilize instruments, handpieces, and ancillary equipment
• Comply with office policies and procedures
• Assume the standard of care related to infection control; all OSHA guidelines & safety are upheld at the station they are assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Dental Assisting experience
• EDDA Experience, certification preferred
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred
• CPR-BLS required
• Xray Certification required
• Denticon software experience is a plus
