Cody Dental Group is an established dental practice seeking an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team full-time. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday (to be determined, 8am-12pm)

Responsibilities:
- Taking necessary x-rays
- Fabricating temporary crowns, placing fillings, and taking impressions
- Assisting during endodontic treatments
- Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Restocking treatment areas and maintaining inventory
- Infection Control
- Preparing treatment plans and updating patient charts in Denticon
- Setting up and breaking down operatories
- Scheduling patients for treatment
- Maintaining OSHA standards
Skills:
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Teamwork
- Denitcon knowledge is a plus but is not required
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and goal-oriented
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
- Experience with 4 handed dentistry
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant
- EDDA experience
- X-ray certification
- CPR Certification
- Certified Dental Assistant preferred
- EDDA certification is a plus but is NOT required
