Overview

Premier Dental Center located in New Braunfels, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our established family dental practice full time. We are a fast paced office that thrives on teamwork. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:15am-5:15pm, Friday 8:15am-2pm 

Rate: $20-$23/hr, plus bonus opportunities

Responsibilities Include:

  • Welcome patients to the dental office
  • Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Assist with crowns, bridges and implants
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the operatories clean and well-stocked
  • Schedule appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
  • Assist with ordering dental supplies and keeping track of dental supply inventory

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Dental Assisting experience
  • Active Registered Dental Assistant license in the state of Texas
  • CPR Certification
  • Radiology Certification
  • Nitrous Certified preferred
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to perform regulated surgical and nonsurgical tasks
  • Strong computer skills - Denticon experience is a plus!

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $23.00 /Yr.
