Premier Dental Center Seguin is seeking a Temporary Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team full-time from 10/31/25 until 1/14/2026. This role is crucial in supporting our Dentist chairside and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow in our practice. We work with a fantastic team that believes in teamwork and helping out wherever is needed. In this role you will alternate assisting 2 dentists who are patient, kind, and passionate about providing high quality dental care. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:15am-5:15pm
Rate: $18-$23/hr

Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and materials
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, such as fillings, crowns, implants, dentures, extractions, etc.
- Ensure the patient’s comfort throughout the procedure
- Greet and prepare patients for their visit
- Explain procedures and answer any questions patients may have
- Record and update patient medical histories and personal information
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Perform preliminary assessments, including measuring blood pressure
- Schedule patient appointments
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Monitor and order dental supplies and equipment as needed
- Ensure the dental operatory is stocked and organized
- Follow protocols for infection control and sterilization of instruments and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dental operatory and office
- Work closely with the dentist and other dental professionals to ensure a smooth workflow
- Assist in training and mentoring new dental assistants or staff members
- Provide patients with information on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Educate patients on preventive dental care and maintenance
- Be prepared to respond to dental emergencies and provide basic first aid as needed
- Stay updated with the latest dental technologies, procedures, and regulations
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of TX is required
- 2+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant is required
- Active CPR Certification or willing to obtain
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated surgical and nonsurgical tasks
- Strong computer skills, Denticon is preferred but is not required
- Excellent communication and people skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
