Premier Dental Center Bulverde located in Spring Branch, TX is an established general dentistry clinic seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team full-time. This role is crucial in supporting our Dentist chairside and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow in our practice. We work with a fantastic team that believes in teamwork and helping each other out. Our dentist has been practicing for over 20 years and is communicative, kind and easy to work with.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:15am-5:15 pm 

Rate: $21-$23/hr, plus daily bonus opportunities



Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and materials
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, such as fillings, crowns, implants, dentures, extractions, etc.
  • Ensure the patient’s comfort throughout the procedure
  • Greet and prepare patients for their visit
  • Explain procedures and answer any questions patients may have
  • Record and update patient medical histories and personal information
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
  • Perform preliminary assessments, including measuring blood pressure
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
  • Monitor and order dental supplies and equipment as needed
  • Ensure the dental operatory is stocked and organized
  • Follow protocols for infection control and sterilization of instruments and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dental operatory and office
  • Work closely with the dentist and other dental professionals to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Assist in training and mentoring new dental assistants or staff members
  • Provide patients with information on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Educate patients on preventive dental care and maintenance
  • Be prepared to respond to dental emergencies and provide basic first aid as needed
  • Stay updated with the latest dental technologies, procedures, and regulations
  • Participate in continuing education and training opportunities

Requirements:

  • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of TX is required
  • 2+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant is required
  • Active CPR certification or willing to obtain
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to perform regulated surgical and nonsurgical tasks
  • Strong computer skills, Denticon is preferred but is not required
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!

Pay Range

USD $21.00 - USD $23.00 /Yr.
