South Springs Dental Group is an established family dental practice located in the SW Colorado Springs area near Fort Carson. We are looking for a reliable Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. We are a patient-centric practice led by a fantastic doctor that is down-to-earth and fun to be around. In this role, you will be assisting both our doctor and hygienist chairside. This is a great opportunity to build up your skill set and learn different areas of dentistry.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm

Rate: $18-$22/hr, plus daily bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Seating and greeting patients
• Reviewing health history and taking vitals
• Capturing X-rays as needed
• Assisting the doctor and hygienist chairside
• Explaining different dental procedures
• Answering patient questions regarding treatment needs
• Entering treatment into patient charts
• Preparing treatment plans and presenting options to patients
• Reviewing insurance and financial obligation to patients

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
• X-Ray Certification required
• Current CPR certification or willing to obtain
• Knowledge of Denticon software is a plus
