Job Title: Dental Business Office Assistant
Location: Denver, Colorado
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Office: Lowry Main Street Dental (2nd and Quebec)

Wage: Hourly 22-26/hr

We are seeking a results-driven Dental Business Office Assistant to join our front office team and help ensure our practice runs smoothly and efficiently.

 

Position Summary:

 

The Dental Business Office Assistant/Front Office Coordinator plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our front office. This individual will be the face of our practice and is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, managing patient scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and supporting the business side of our clinical operations. The Dental Business Office Assistant will report directly to a Senior Office Manager and support the day-to-day operations in our family dental practice. 

 


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner

  • Manage multi-line phones, appointment scheduling, and patient check-in/check-out

  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits (PPO plans)

  • Submit and follow up on insurance claims

  • Collect and post patient payments, process billing, and account statements

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

  • Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow

  • Track and report key business metrics as directed by management

  • Support the overall goals of the practice with a team-first mentality



Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental front office role

  • Strong understanding of dental insurance (PPO) and FFS billing

  • Proficient with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Business-savvy mindset with a focus on results and efficiency

  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive attitude and commitment to exceptional patient care

Qualifications

What You Will Bring

    • 2+ years of dental front office or coordinator experience (required)
    • Strong multitasking and leadership skills — capable of running the office independently
    • Dependable and organized with a proactive mindset
    • Excellent communication & customer service
    • Insurance and billing knowledge
    • Tech-savvy (Denticon experience is a plus)
    • Willingness to travel occasionally to support nearby practices

Pay Range

USD $22.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
