We are seeking a skilled and motivated Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our team part-time Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. In this role, you’ll be a key player in delivering top-tier surgical care while helping create a smooth, upbeat experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Schedule: Part-Time, Mondays 7:45am-4:15pm, Thursdays 7:45am-4:15pm, Fridays 7:45am-2:15pm 

 

Compensation: $24-$30/hr, plus attainable monthly bonus opportunities based on performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist our oral surgeons during surgical procedures such as extractions, implants, and more

  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and surgical areas

  • Ensure patients are comfortable, informed, and cared for before, during, and after procedures

  • Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)

  • Monitor patients’ vital signs as needed during procedures

  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting

  • Follow strict infection control and safety protocols

  • Support team members and contribute to a smooth, efficient workflow

  • Assist with IV placements and drawing blood

 

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant in oral surgery, prosthodontics, or general dentistry required
  • Active BLS Certification or willing to obtain required
  • X-Ray Certification required
  • Prior IV or Phlebotomy experience or willing to be trained
  • Dental Assistant Certification preferred
