Job Title: Pediatric Dental Assistant
Location: Discovery Kids Pediatric Dentistry, Colorado Springs, CO
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Thursday (7:30 AM to 5 PM)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children and excels in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Dental assisting experience is preferred, and pediatric experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental radiographs (as permitted by state regulations)
• Comfort and engage with children to ensure a positive experience
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols
• Support front office or team members as needed

Qualifications:

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Pediatric dental experience is a plus
• Current CPR certification required
• X-ray certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, patient, and compassionate with children
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Compensation: $22-$26/hr., plus monthly bonus opportunities based on performance
