We’re looking for an energetic, passionate, and highly organized Dental Patient Coordinator to join our busy, two-provider PPO and FFS dental practice. The Dental Patient Coordinator will work closely with our Office Manager and clinical team to help keep the front office running smoothly and efficiently.
This is a full-time, onsite position, Tuesday through Friday, 7:45 AM–5:15 PM.
Our practice is fully digital and fast-paced, so the ideal candidate is comfortable learning technology, juggling multiple priorities, and staying organized while providing warm, professional service to every patient.
Welcome patients with a warm, professional, and positive attitude
Answer and manage incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
Verify dental insurance benefits and assist with insurance-related questions
Update and maintain accurate patient information in our practice management system
Review patient accounts and assist with collecting outstanding balances
Confidently discuss payment and financing options with patients, including CareCredit
Help patients understand their financial responsibilities and available payment options
Communicate treatment and appointment information clearly and compassionately
Assist the Office Manager with day-to-day front desk operations
Maintain accurate documentation and protect patient confidentiality
Use patient communication tools to communicate with patients effectively
Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and efficient front office
Work collaboratively with the entire team to deliver an exceptional patient experience
Take initiative and assist wherever needed to keep the practice moving forward
The ideal candidate is:
Experienced in dental front office/patient coordination
Energetic, friendly, and genuinely passionate about patient care
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Dependable and committed to being a strong team member
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
Confident communicating with patients about insurance, balances, and financing
Comfortable collecting patient payments and discussing financial responsibilities
Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
A strong communicator who enjoys working with both patients and teammates
Comfortable learning and using technology in a fully digital dental office
Someone who takes ownership, follows through, and brings their best effort to work every day
We are a fully digital office, so technology comfort is important.
We’re looking for intermediate experience with:
Microsoft Office
Cloud-based dental practice management systems (experience with Denticon or similar systems is a plus)
Digital patient communication platforms (experience with Patient Prism or similar technology is a plus)
Electronic insurance verification and patient account systems
You don’t need to know every system we use on day one. A willingness and ability to learn new technology quickly is essential.
